What does it mean to be a member of an Episcopal Church?

According to the canons (laws) of the church, to be a baptized member of a church you need to be: 1) baptized there; 2) If you are Episcopalian, you would officially transfer your membership from another Episcopal church; 3) If you are not Episcopalian and you were not confirmed in another denomination, you would go through Confirmation classes and be confirmed by the bishop; 4) If you are not Episcopalian and you were confirmed in another denomination, you would go through Confirmation classes and be received by the bishop.

But what does it actually mean to be a member of St. Alban’s?

Everyone is encouraged to take part in the life of St. Alban’s by 1) Attending regularly, in person or online; 2) Making a pledge to financially support the church; 3) Participating in classes and joining ministries.
